Laura Lomas’s The House Party spins Strindberg’s Miss Julie into intense, fizzing life for today’s generation. Directed by Holly Race Roughan, in a co-production with Headlong in association with Frantic Assembly, it runs at Chichester’s Minerva Theatre from 3 May – 1 June, with a press night on Friday 10 May. Lyric Hammersmith Theatre has announced the full cast and creative team for the UK premiere of Alice Childress’ Wedding Band: A Love/Hate Story in Black and White, directed by Stage Debut Award winner Monique Touko, who returns to the Lyric after the smash-hit production of School Girls; Or, The African Mean Girls Play.

Last night, the 2024 Olivier Awards were held at the Royal Albert Hall, hosted by Hannah Waddingham. Among the performances was one from the West End cast of Next to Normal, who took the stage to perform a medley of songs from the show. The medley included 'I Miss the Mountains', 'Superboy and The Invisible Girl' and 'I'm Alive'. Watch the video here!
