Warner International Playwright Festival Set for Now thru 7/14

The first Warner Theatre International Playwright Festival will take place in the Warner's Nancy Marine Studio Theatre tonight, July 12 through July 14, 2012 at 8pm each evening.

The Festival is a celebration of new works by playwrights from across the country and around the globe. Festival director, Charlene Donaghy, a Kennedy award-winning playwright, who has organized numerous other festivals around the country has announced that 11 one-act plays have been selected from the 272 plays submitted. Submissions came from across the United States and Canada and as far away as Ireland, Wales, Australia, Costa Rica, and China.

The 11 plays selected will be shown over the course of three themed evenings giving patrons the opportunity to see 4-5 plays with each ticket purchase.
