TheatreWorks New Milford Stage 2 program will present GODSPELL for two nights only on Friday and Saturday July 13 and 14 at 8:00pm. Tickets are only $15 and senior citizens are welcome to attend dress rehearsal free of charge on Thursday July 12.

This production's cast of talented teens includes Ken Lutz of Bantam as Jesus, Stuart Abrams of Warren as Judas, Erin Shaughnessy, Katie Sheehan, Molly Street, Josie Harding, Jami Valzania, Jack Harding, Tess Harkin, Ally Delmonte, Casey Shanahan and Olivia Streaman all of New Milford, Julie Brand of Oxford, Michelle Rakowsky of New Fairfield and Christina Zaherevich of Litchfield. The TheatreWorks Stage 2 teen program was designed to hone the skills of our local youths, giving them a broader view of theatre and live performance under the capable instruction and guidance of Beth Bonnabeau, assisted by Mikki Harkin.

Conceived and originally directed by John Michael Tebelak, with music and new lyrics by Stephen Schwartz, GODSPELL is one of the biggest off-Broadway and Broadway successes of all time. Based on the Gospel according to St. Matthew, and featuring Schwartz's sparkling score, GODSPELL boasts a string of well-loved songs, led by the international hit, "Day By Day." As the cast performs "Prepare Ye the Way of the Lord," "Learn Your Lessons Well," "All for the Best," "All Good Gifts," "Turn Back, O Man," and "By My Side," the parables of Jesus Christ are brought beautifully to life.

You can order your tickets online at Godspell Tickets. If you have any trouble, please call the theatre and leave a message at 860-350-6863. TheatreWorks is located at 5 Brookside Avenue, New Milford, CT. Please note: Parking is located on Elm Street behind the theatre.
