On Saturday, March 3 The Met: Live in HD series will continue with an encore performance of Verdi's Ernani at the Warner's Nancy Marine Studio Theatre at 1pm.

Angela Meade takes center stage in Ernani, an operatic dramma lirico in four acts by Giuseppe Verdi. Marcello Giordani is her mismatched lover, and all-star Verdians Dmitri Hvorostovsky and Ferruccio Furlanetto round out the cast.

The Warner Theatre will offer a complimentary pre-broadcast lecture to all ticket holders given by opera expert Nunzio DeFilippis from 11 – 11:45. Mr. DeFilippis has taught "Opera, a Passion for all Ages" at Osher Lifelong Learning Institute, UConn Waterbury CT.

Ticket holders will also enjoy a live performance from the students of Western CT State University's opera program prior to the screening of Ernani at 12:40 pm. This short performance will showcase these talented students and their upcoming production of CARMEN that will take place at the Ives Center Hall on WSCU Midtown Campus March 30 & 31.
