The Hartt School Presents Lions Gate Trio
Join Hartt’s popular trio-in-residence as they perform trios by Beethoven, Ravel, and Rebecca Clarke. The Lions Gate Trio includes violinist Katie Lansdale, pianist Florence Millet, and cellist Darrett Adkins. This performance takes place on Wednesday, October 3, at 7:30 PM, in Millard Auditorium, University of Hartford, 200 Bloomfield Avenue, West Hartford. The Hartt School presents an Evening with Guitar on Thursday, October 4, at 8:00 PM, in Berkman Recital Hall, University of Hartford, 200 Bloomfield Avenue, West Hartford. This concert features solo and chamber music performances by undergraduate and graduate students in the classical guitar department. There is no charge for this performance, but seating is limited. The Hartt Symphony Orchestra performs under the direction of Maestro Edward Cumming for the first performance of the 2012-2013 season on Friday, October 5, at 7:30 PM, in Millard Auditorium, University of Hartford, 200 Bloomfield Avenue, West Hartford. The Orchestra performs Overture in D by Haydn; Symphony in D by CPE Bach; Symphony no. 32 in G Major by Mozart; and Symphony no. 8 in F. major by Beethoven.
