Sea Tea Improv Troupe Performs at Benefit for Connecticut Alzheimer's Association Tonight, 9/27

Companions for Living, a West-Hartford based agency that provides home care services for seniors and people with disabilities, will present award winning Sea Tea Improv at West Hartford's Playhouse on Park tonight, September 27 from 6:00 to 9:00 p.m. Proceeds will benefit the Alzheimer's Association's Connecticut Chapter.

This is the fourth year that the event named "Vino and a Show – a FUNdraiser for the Alzheimer's Association of Connecticut" will be presented. This year's event will include a cocktail hour with wine, beer and hors d'oeuvres donated by California Pizza Kitchen prior to Sea Tea's presentation.

Sea Tea Improv officially burst onto the comedy scene on April Fool's Day, 2009, and hasn't sat down since. The troupe of ten players, professionally trained by Hartford Stage Company and the Upright Citizens Brigade in New York, dazzles Hartford and beyond on a regular basis with their witty, raucous interpretations of audience suggestions… no two shows are ever the same.

Sea Tea was an official selection of the Providence Improv Festival and has been featured on WNPR's Colin McEnroe Show, ESPN, Better Connecticut, Mass Appeal, and Connecticut Style. Sea Tea Improv was also featured on the front page of the Arts section of The Hartford Courant.
