Photo Flash: THE LITTLE MERMAID-A-GO-GO

THE LITTLE MERMAID-A-GO-GO features book and lyrics by artistic director Bert Bernardi and music by Scott Simonelli. This new version of the Hans Christian Andersen
story is set on the fictional Hula Beach circa 1963 and is inspired by the popular Frankie and Annette beach party movies. Featured in the cast are Ashely DePascale as Sandy, the little mermaid, Jeffery James Dinan as the unlikely hero Milligan, Maria Vee as Hula Mary, Lance Anthony as lifeguard Duke Daniels, Jeff Fulton as King Crab, Jimmy Johansmeyer as Little Jimmy Rebel and Mr. Bernardi as the Sea Witch Lucy Lobstashia. The new musical features lights by Hugh Hallinan, sets by Delmar, costumes by Mr. Johansmeyer, technical direction by Steve Swatt and stage management by Phill Hill. The show is directed and staged by Mr. Bernardi.

This marks the XXX new musical by Bernardi and Simonelli. The team has written new musical versions of popular children's books including Mini Grey's The Adventures of the Dish and the Spoon, Elise Primavera's Auntie Claus, Robert D. San Souci's Cinderella Skeleton and L.Frank Baum's The Life and Adventures of Santa Claus.
