Comix At Foxwoods Welcomes Donnell Rawlings, 5/9

Best known for his role on Chappelle's Show, Donnell Rawlings will take over the Comix stage as part of his "Donnell Rawlings Unchained Tour" for four performances on Thursday, May 9 at 8 p.m., Friday, May 10 at 8 p.m. and Saturday, May 11 at 8 p.m. and 10:30 p.m. Fans are welcomed to witness a "Nasty Show with Donnell Rawlings" during his final uproarious performance.

Tickets are on sale now and are $20 for general advance admission ($30 the day of), while VIP advance admission tickets are $40 ($50 the day of). A two-drink minimum applies to all tickets. The show is 21+ and is for mature audiences only.

Currently starring on MTV2's popular series, "Guy Code," Rawlings is an overnight success, a decade in the making. He shot to stardom with his well-known and hilarious character, "Ashy Larry," on Chapelle's Show. His comedy rap sheet includes a turn as a writer and host for Chappelle's Show, a spot on HBO's famed Def Comedy Jam, and guest roles on E!'s Chelsea Lately, MTV's Guy Code, and BET's ComicView, just to name a few. No stranger to the big screen, he's also appeared in the blockbuster smash "Spider Man 2," and can soon be seen in the feature film, "Percentage."

Showcasing his extreme versatility, he has guest starred on several primetime network crime dramas, such as Law & Order: SVU, Law & Order: Criminal Intent and NBC's Third Watch. He has also played recurring characters on two Emmy Award-winning series, HBO's The Corner and The Wire. While his rise to stardom may not have been "overnight," the journey has given him the life experience needed to keep his humor edgy and relevant.
